Bell and Howell announces it will completely support the USPS QR Mobile Barcode Promotion on its NetSort  enabled sorters. The QR Barcode incentive program was finalized by the USPS on May 17, 2011. The dates for this promotion are July 1 through August 31, 2011.

The promotion offers a three percent postage discount on First Class Mail and Standard Mail, commercial letters and flats that contain a mobile barcode either on the inside or outside of the mailpiece at time of mailing. The discount is in addition to the Full Service Intelligent Mail  barcode discounts.

The software updates are being rolled out to all BH customers.
